This notice explains how GearDeep at https://geardeep.com processes information when you browse the site or contact its editorial team. Updated October 24, 2026. For a question or privacy request, use our Contact page.
Information you send to GearDeep
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. Submissions are stored in a private inbox in this website’s WordPress administration area, accessible to site administrators. The form does not subscribe you to a mailing list or send your message to a public discussion. We use the information to review an inquiry, investigate a correction and respond where appropriate. Do not submit medical records, payment details, passwords or other sensitive information.
Website delivery and security
The hosting infrastructure and network services process technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the website. This can include IP addresses, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps and error or security logs. The contact form uses a short-lived, keyed hash of the connection’s IP address to limit repeated submissions. It expires after one hour and is separate from the message record.
Cloudflare performance analytics
Pages load a Cloudflare performance-measurement beacon. It sends page-view and page-performance information, including loading and interaction measurements, to Cloudflare. Cloudflare states that its RUM beacon does not use cookies or browser storage for these analytics. This notice does not claim that the site has no analytics. Read Cloudflare’s explanation of the beacon and its Privacy Policy for details of its processing.
Cookies and external services
WordPress uses cookies for administration and authentication when an administrator signs in. The current contact form does not require a visitor account. Links to external sites take you to services with their own privacy and cookie practices. If future features introduce additional analytics, advertising, embedded media or subscriptions, this notice will need to describe those services.
Retailer and affiliate links
GearDeep may link to retailers, including Amazon. An affiliate link can include a referral identifier used by the retailer to attribute qualifying purchases. The retailer processes your use of its website according to its own notices. GearDeep does not receive your payment-card details from a retailer purchase. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the editorial context of these links.
Access, retention and service providers
Site administrators and providers needed to host, secure or maintain the site may have access to the information required for those purposes. Contact messages are kept while an inquiry, correction or related record remains useful and can be deleted by the administrator when no longer needed. Hosting logs, backups and Cloudflare records follow the relevant provider’s retention arrangements; a deleted live record may remain temporarily in backups. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Your choices and requests
You can browse without sending a contact message. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of information, or to object to certain processing. Use the contact form to make a request and provide enough information to identify the relevant record. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing personal information. Blocking third-party scripts in your browser may limit performance measurement.
